Today was our monthly birthday party. We had 14 guests of honor, ranging in age from 1 year, to 8 years old. One of the volunteers baked cupcakes, and the children absolutely downed them. The cutest part was when a little 2 year old somehow got ahold of a second cupcake, and was chowing down on both of them at the same time! For the children from the toddler house, it is always a treat to come down to Mme. John's (the main house) for the party. They enjoy playing with all the toys here, even if they are way below their age level. Molly found some left over Christmas gifts, and so she wrapped them up and we gave each child a birthday gift as well. Fun was definitely had by all!
