In Belgium

We took the train from Hollond to Brussels (my first train experience). Two ladies from an adoption agency that we are likely going to be starting to work with met us at the train station. From the train station, we walked over to Belgium's equivalent to Child and Family Services to meet with 2 ladies there about Haitian adoptions. Yikes, I sure felt pretty important at this meeting - discussing GLA and adoptions. After our meeting, we walked back to the train station, where we were picked up by Benjamin. Benjamin and Linda adopted Wilex and Mickerline last fall, and we stayed with them for a couple days. We had a great time with them. We got to their home just in time for supper. We were pretty tired, so Naomi went to bed very shortly after; however I stayed up and visited with them for a while. Then on Wednesday, Linda took us sightseeing to Antwope. Wow, what a great day! We saw TONS of very interesting things! Definitely a lot of history in that city! We got lots of great pictures! Another parent who had adopted from GLA before I arrived here joined us as well. Then in the evening, Linda had invited a few families to their place - families who have adopted from GLA. It was so awesome to see these children who I knew well when they were here.

Belgium was GREAT!!! Benjamin and Linda are an awesome couple, and it was so special to stay with them and their children. Also, very great hosts!!!
